Low B and high C

A 6-string bass is tuned B E A D G C. This is standard 4-string tuning with a low B0 added below and a high C3 added above. Every string is a fourth apart.

If your microphone has trouble with the low B, play the harmonic at the 12th fret in Manual mode.

How to tune your 6-string bass online

    Pluck one string and let it ring. Auto mode shows the closest string. To stay on one string, switch to Manual.

    If the needle is on the left, tighten the string to raise the pitch. If it is on the right, loosen it. Stop when the needle is in the middle and turns green.
